The Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) has standardised general terms and conditions for all huts.
Overnight stay
The Doldenhornhut offers 42 sleeping places. All beds are equipped with duvets and pillows.
For hygiene reasons, a cotton or silk sleeping bag is mandatory. If you do not have one, you can buy one at the hut.
Overnight stays are usually offered with half board (dinner and breakfast).
Food & drinks
We are happy to serve you in our cosy guest room or on the sunny terrace with views of the surrounding mountains.
Our offer includes a varied selection of food and drinks. We place great importance on regional and traditional products and work closely with local suppliers.
Hike to the hut
The hike to the Doldenhornhut follows a beautiful mountain trail from Kandersteg to the hut at the foot of the Doldenhorn (3643 m).
The trail leads through larch and stone pine forests and above the tree line, offering impressive views of Lake Oeschinen and the surrounding mountain landscape.
The hut is located at 1915 m above sea level.
